About Me

 I learned to play Bridge as a child. Over the past 15 years I have been playing and directing Bridge regularly. I am a qualified Australian and American Bridge Director and am based in Toowoomba, Queensland. 

I am an accredited Bridge Trainer with the Australian Bridge Federation (ABF). I have developed and conducted Bridge training sessions for our club members, both face to face and online. I also use materials developed by Joan Butts, one of the leading Bridge players and trainers in Australia.

 I have conducted Bridge sessions on multiple cruise ships and I love to help people to enjoy the game because I truly believe that "Life's Better... Playing Bridge".

When I'm not playing or teaching Bridge, I enjoy cruising with my family and friends. I have been fortunate to cruise nearly 3 times a year and have spent over a year of my life at sea - visiting exotic destinations around the world.

While COVID-19 temporarily halted my journeys, I recommenced Bridge Cruises in 2022. Keep an eye on my Events page if you are interested to see where I am travelling to next.

I play Bridge regularly in Toowoomba and SE Queensland as well as online. I enjoy both club games and tournaments and have met many fabulous people through Bridge.

Born in Zimbabwe, I still have family in South Africa and try to visit them annually.

I am passionate about animals and have spent many years studying animal behaviour. I support Angels Rescue by fostering kittens for adoption (in between cruises of course).
